With the goal of bringing the high-quality Ethernet products from Taiwanese manufacturer Katron Technologies Inc. (KTI) to the German market, the decision to found the company was made over 30 years ago. While other players in the industry focus on mass production, KTI has carved out a specialized niche: a carefully curated portfolio of media converters, switches, and optical transceivers for the reliable interconnection of fiber-optic and copper infrastructures. In a world where technologies often become obsolete faster than they can be installed, we are proud to now celebrate our 30th anniversary.
KTI Distribution’s 30-year history demonstrates that a solid hardware foundation remains a critical component of network infrastructures, even in the age of Software-as-a-Service models and cloud services. Moving forward, we aim to strengthen our role as a value-added distributor and expand our portfolio for you. Additional manufacturers, carefully selected by us, will therefore soon be added to the KTI portfolio. This will enable us to better meet the specialized needs of our customers in a highly interconnected, highly complex world. Through its partnership with market leader CommScope, KTI is also expanding its offering to include passive components for copper and fiber-optic infrastructures.
